While we still don’t have a definitive release date to announce, we’re happy to report that testing our interactive adaptation of The War of the Worlds is going smoothly.
Unlike The Pulse, which included a ton of unseen features that were trouble to track, we chose to keep our latest release simple in order to get it into players’ hands as soon as possible. Barring some kind of catastrophe (like the time our developer’s computer melted during the final stages of prepping The Pulse), we expect to have it out in the coming weeks.
In the meantime, we are also gathering what art and music we have and gearing up for release.
The trailer above was put together using audio from Orson Welles’ infamous radio broadcast of The War of the Worlds and an original music queue from composer Auto/Reflex (who also scored The Pulse).
The full Auto/Reflex score for The War of the Worlds will make its debut on Bandcamp in the coming weeks, but until then you can listen to a preview of the title track below.
